Birth - 21 Years Old
The Littles
For the littles, speech therapy can include helping a child say and combine their first words, create sounds, ask for help, and understand simple directions.
This age relies heavily on play-based therapy, incidental teaching, and parent coaching.
Pre-K - School Age
For school-aged children, speech therapy can include increasing vocabulary, reading comprehension, accurate speech productions, and expression of ideas.
Adolescents
For the older children to adults, speech therapy can include assisting in life skills needed for higher grade levels and work-based settings such as inferencing, problem solving, and prediction.

Speech-Language Pathologist
Lidya provides specialized speech therapy to homeschooled and private-schooled children in addition to supplementing Individualized Education Plans (IEP) for public school students. Her focus is on treating speech sound disorders and improving language skills crucial for education, including reading comprehension, following directions, and grammatical accuracy.
For those with the Step Up For Students scholarships - Unique Abilities, speech therapy can be requested on the Education Market Assistant (EMA) portal under the Figure of Speech company name.
Lidya offers speech therapy in the office and virtually for eligible candidates.

How Do I Know How What Test or How Many Units My Child Needs?
Therapy is billed in units of 15 minute increments.
1 Unit: $28.75
2 Units: $57.50
3 Units: $86.25
4 Units: $115
*Please note there is a minimum of 2 units for scheduling
